Assalam Alaikum and Peace,
Advancing the agenda
After the first successful conference, AMCC has been working to advance its agenda. We sent a thank you letter to the Best Buy management for recognizing the Eid al-Adha message in their marketing material.

CNN reached out to us to help organize interviews with customers and Islamic Finance Mortgage provider, University Islamic Financial Bank for their segment on Islamic finance. Those profiled were attendees and sponsors of AMCC.

We also worked with the Los Angeles times and arranged interviews with AMCC participants and the speakers for their article on "Marketing to the Muslim demographic".

We have now set the date and venue for the 2nd Annual American Muslim Consumer Conference.

Our web site www.AmericanMuslimConsumer.com has been completely revamped

Sweet Pillar & Co. Inc.

The Medjool date, aka “Nature’s Candy” is the oldest known cultivated tree crop dating back more than 5,000 years with historical reference in the major monotheistic religions as well as ancient culture. It has been reported that the Virgin Mary was able to sustain herself by eating dates while in the desert during child birth. Centuries later and far from it’s original home, Sweet Pillar & Co’s aim is to infuse new life into this neglected treasure. Founded in Beverly Hills, CA in 2009 with big dreams of not only introducing gourmet exotic date inspired Mediterranean chocolates, but also building awareness of a region and religion that is more often than not overlooked.
