Sabiha Ansari is a Certified Empowerment Coach (CEC), current member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a graduate of the ICF-accredited training program at the world-renowned Institute of Professional Empowerment Coaching (IPEC). Through the use of empowerment coaching and core competencies in problem solving, effective communication, and strategic transitioning, Sabiha has been able to bring out the absolute best in a client, be it a person, couple, family or business. She has worked with mid-level mangers from Lockheed and Martin, employees from the pharmaceutical sector, IT professionals, start-up small business owners, and working mothers with life/balance conflicts.
Sabiha applies her expertise in coaching to help her own community. She is a certified facilitator for EPIC (Every Person Influences a Child), a not for profit organization that specializes in providing education for effective and successful parenting as well as helping to prevent child abuse. Sabiha has also used her coaching skills to be an effective facilitator for the Childhood Obesity Summit organized by the Institute of Medicine and Atlantic Health Systems, Morristown Memorial Hospital, and former New Jersey Governor Thomas Kean.
Sabiha has a Bachelor?s degree in Psychology from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio . She has over three years of experience working with the Associate Dean of Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She holds professional memberships with International Coaching Federation (ICF), South Asian Women?s Leadership Forum (SAWLF), New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) and member of the Marketing & Public Relations team on the Board of the New Jersey Professional Coaches Association (NJPCA). Sabiha has also been featured as an expert life coach on Magic 98.3 FM and WCTC 1450 AM in central New Jersey.
Sabiha was born in a small town near the Himalayas in India. She came to the United States when she was two years old. She considers herself an Indo-American, and extremely fortunate to be able to blend the best of both worlds. She currently resides in North Brunswick, NJ with her husband of 16 years, and two boys, aged 11 and 4.
